Ronberge (anno secundo) - free form Vanilla Soul Latte a poem about coffee

Let me pour my soul
into a cup
And drink it whole…
even the froth.
For you
Every drop
Is a kind thought.

Take in my aroma
My Smart and sophistication
My wit and self-deprecation
I have the best of everything
At least I think so
I’m the memory of an old taste
You cannot remember
but will never forget
a sweet smelling odour
that leaves no regret.

Take in my flavour
If your usual green tea crowd isn’t cutting it
And the bitter expresso people are too much on the go
I’ll be your candy cappuccino, with a hint of Oreo
Leave behind the armour
Let me bring out
your inner child
What I know you can be
Be wild and spontaneous
Be sincere and unpretentious
Free spririted, relaxed and
Yet down to earth
Like I know you can be.

If you need a pick me up
Here I am
In a cup
Feel the warmth
In your hands
Drink me whole
To the last drop
Get a taste of me
Linger to savour
Let me in
I’ll be your saviour
Just let it happen

My soul is
in your cup
Take it whole
To the last drop
Each one a thought
For you
Taste of me
be back for more
for My vanilla
Vanilla soul latte.
