It's been a While
Since she looked in the mirror
Replacing the terror with a gentle Smile
Eyes of darkness
Soul hidden from within
Inner life all in a mess
Heart protected with walls of tin
Ignoring all witnesses of sin.
It's been a While
Since her arms were there
To make another's heart Smile
Burden with a life full of Pain
Trapped, can't go any Lower
Come to realization
She had nothing to Lose
But everything to Gain!
It's been a While
Since she's found this new way
She'll Never look back
Today her only duty is to
Join others with her new Smile!
