We Stood Outside In The Rain

Just a little wishful thinking, although I wouldn't mind it a bit (giggles) ...

It was the fairest of days, and we smiled,
In our embrace of love's sweet bliss,
Our emotions running wild,
As I listened to him affirm that I am his.

He kissed me on my ruby lips,
His strong hands at my hips,
Holding me close with a tender touch,
While whispering love's sweet words so much,
That while we did not have a care attained,
The weather became uncertain as it began to rain.

We stood there in each other's embrace,
And didn't care that we should race,
Inside the house to get away,
From the downpour of Heaven's tears.

So we kissed and embraced again,
While we stood outside in the rain
