The Words That I Wrote

What really gets to me,
What really makes me mad,
Is that you'll read this and say,
'Oh that's pretty good, keep it up, '
But you won't leave a comment,
No not a single word to let me know,
Just how you feel about the words that
I have written for your enjoyment.
It is a lost cause to try and savor,
Any hope of having you favor,
My poor simple thoughts,
That in time I may have bought,
A kind word or two about how you,
liked or disliked my poem too.
