Samson Minder - The Land Of Babylon

2014-11-07 3

A million faces young and old
Live in a nation so bold
Freedom claimed in their name
Became a deceitful and deadly game
Baby’s cry
Children die
Family’s fight to feed
Stealing becomes a need
I was there in the sand
And killed with my own hand
In the land of Babylon
How many more young and old
Pay the price for a story told
Has justice ever shined
I think all are blind
By the patriots song
Actions wrong
For the land of Babylon
Fear of those young and old
In that land of Babylon
Dictated democracy’s fun
By the land of western sun
Graves dug
And songs sung
Poems wrote
The people vote
Because of the land of Babylon
When those young become old
Will they love the freedom sold
Will it be the offer
Or something softer
Under the oppression of a shopping mall?
Poor will fall...
Will families fight to feed?
And steel because of need?
In the land of Babylon
Many million faces young and old
In that nation so bold
Torn apart by lies
Each brother dies
History repeats
Beneath our feat
In the land of Babylon
Millions of faces young and old
Tire of our story cold
Blood red anger stirs inside
And no longer will abide
Murderous freedom
In the land of Babylon
