I'll tell you of the Jacobite
who cuts right through my heart;
heed the call of the drums and pipe
a hand on hilt ready to fight
flashing blade with white cockade
lies deep within my heart.
I'll read you of the Jacobite
revealed through written yarns;
haunted echoes of drums and pipe
'Kidnapped' by quill for he did write
truth held in words yet valiant
wrote what was in his heart.
I'll whisper of the Jacobite
a treasure from the hearth;
attend the call of drums and pipe
vital spark we'll keep alight
fearless, bold and vigilant
chased cruelly from our hearts.
Lets celebrate the Jacobite
who occupies our hearts!
Honor the call of drums and pipe
a fugitive though his by RIGHT!
He's come home in highland plaid
forever claims our hearts!
