Annabelle James - Catherine (they called us dykes, we called them lonely)

2014-11-07 6

Tonight, we spent hours on the cold cement,
lamenting our cold hearts.
They don't understand the complex layers
of our undefinable love
It is a feeling that permeates our entire beings
And yet, shall never be captured.
Or consumated.

Those shady months of gray
Cloaked my heart in the snow
Which fell on the ground that seperated us
Like a blade through my soul.
Morbid months, mourning the deceit,
the lies and the broken beer bottles.

No more does that lonely pole
stand unchallenged.
United by hatred (love)
And as the snow slowly melted into Spring,
It was finally clear that
She Loved Me Too.
