Kathryn Miller - Save Me

2014-11-07 5

She comes at me,
like I am a dog,
She curses and swears,
Her fist is flying toward me,
They hit me,
Hard,
I try to run,
But it’s like I am stunned,
She hits me again and again,
I cry for help but no one hears,
My emotions mixed with fear – hate – and anger,
She keeps beating,
Until they come,
The blue lights flash along with the red,
They take her away,
They say she had problems,
and I’d never see her again,
Today my mommy was taken from me,
And leaves me with bruises and a very bad memory.
Help others like me and STOP child abuse.
Today.
