K. Jared Hosein - (Society) Political Candidate, Mr. James Dalton

2014-11-07 3

The gathering of machinists opened the big black box
And spill all the parts and limbs on the floor.
Slowly, they sift through them and begin to toil,
A head of the state,
Broad shoulders
Connected to his long arms of the law.

So the mechanics put him all together,
Strong foundation, strong feet, strong strolls,
A do-it-yourself army record
To impress people when they go to the polls.

The electricians wired together
The networks and the brain chips,
Filled with visioned, elaborated speeches
To be sparked from his plastic lips.

'All we need now is a name, ' said the man in charge,
'A name strong enough for a Sultan.'
'Ah, yes, from now on we shall call this one
Political candidate, Mr. James Dalton.'
