John Kipling Lewis - My Muse

My Muse,
Can I ever be to you what you have been to me?
Can I inspire dreams of passion?
Can I steal your thoughts from work?
Can I become the obsession that burns your
blood with the thought of a touch?
Which deepens your breath
with whispers on your neck...
Which hints at secret knowledge, just out of reach...
just within reach...
within a touch
warm and soft
blurring your vision and
licking at the corners of you sighs.
Can I move as slow as I have seen you move?

For I want to taste your passion and hear
your screams and see your eyes reflected in mine.
I want to touch a shaking body
and smell the perfume
that will remind me of this
night when all I can do
is remember.
...and I will remember you.
My Muse.
