I once wrote
Affectionately
About your pink skirt;
I thought my heart would break
Or turn into a butterfly
If I were to touch it,
And I’ve been lost
To exquisite dreams and ecstasies
At the sight of your sexy pink shoes.
Seeing you again today
Walking in the morning sunlight
Brought a sweet excitement to my breath;
Seeing your black hair
Softly caress the shoulders
Of your business suit,
I nearly wept.
Tonight, I’ll pray and thank
The Shinto deities
That brought your vision from Japan.
