After twenty years, as cursed as I may be
for having learned computerese,
I continue to examine bits, bytes and words
and insure that I’m one of those computer nerds.
Program design, source code and compile
followed by walk-throughs that place me on trial.
There’s lots of testing – a means to an end
in hopes of avoiding future production abends.
There are micros, minis and mainframe hardware
which are made to work with in-house and vendor software.
Provided are many platforms for everyone to use
and assure misinformation in data’s abuse.
