Subtle turmoil of the subconscious mind
taunts and beckons at uneasy thoughts of necessity.
Inability to communicate;
Reason floods with staggers and irrationalities.
Hesitation halts progression in a 'progressing' world.
Technology overpowers science.
Science overwhelms philosophy.
Philosophy leads in falsities and assumptions.
Sociopolitical, neurotic; unruly conglomeration rules.
Reigning over the fumbling masses,
Economy thunders as imagination fades.
Those who've been lost in '69, in purple haze,
Will be found again…
For they are more aware, more awakened and enlightened,
Than those who humble them.
A chaotic nation suffocates its own dreams
with absolute, with hunger.
Hunger for power will find the hungry
filled with the tremors of their heartbroken forefathers.
Passion is hidden, lost in translation
as the words of authority falter.
Where is your nation's finest?
Where is your warm apple pie?
Baseball would be nothing to you,
had the threat of war died.
Nucleic acids weaken the somber.
Where will you find patriotism
in a world of lost, forsaken honor?
