You have given me friends,
Don't forget though, you led a few astray!
Although 2005...
You brought me a new confidence,
One I never had before.
But a few requests for 2006:
Don't take anymore young ones,
If I find love, teach me how to cherish it more,
Don't take away my new found stregnth -
Mostly just bring me, my friends, and my family happiness,
I promise not to expect it,
Or take it for granted;
I will work for it,
And hold on to it tight once I get it.
So please 2006,
Make this one the best yet,
And I will be, forever in your debt.
