Uriah Hamilton - Sleeping Breath

2014-11-07 12

Hours before the dawn,
The soft moonlight seeps
Through an open upstairs window,
A blanket is tossed from the bed,
And a woman’s glorious nakedness
Is proud in the kingdom
Of uninhibited dreams.

One imagines heaven
To be an eternity of golden slumber
Where a woman’s chest
Rises and falls
In a restful rhythm
While her sleeping breath
Fashions invisible kisses.

Unspeakable joy
Emanates from every desire
To gaze for uninterrupted hours
Upon her ivory shoulders
Gently brushed by brunette hair.
