I wonder why it’s so hard
For some of us to see,
That a little bit of Heaven,
Can come from you and me.
With just a friendly smile,
Given kindly from the heart,
Can lift a person’s spirits,
And set their day apart.
So why not give the gift,
That cost us not a thing;
But its value can be priceless,
And make a sad heart sing.
