Tears In Rain - In Stone

2014-11-07 5

your
starlight
sediment
settled down
rode every ripple
on the sea

with every word
you spun around
you circled
flowed
and closed
to me

though much
too buried
none uncovered
these sort of bones
lie
in embrace

two beings
crushed
fossilized
lovers
with chiseled detail
lost
effaced

though I would crack
each one in two
and surely pass
this dream and wake

I’ll still hold fast
the likes of you
And spare no slate
nor shard forsake

Tears In Rain
