Linda Hepner - Athena

2014-11-07 6

Pallid you may be; Athena, Pallas,
Was wise too, pale because she knew too much
About her lover's quite elusive phallus
Whenever she came near and wished to touch.
She put him in a slaveship to the East
To bring her spices, fragrancies and tales
And feed her hungry spirit needing yeast
To swell and gleam like surface rising whales
Humping their backs and blowing spermy spouts.
She waits for her distant lover to return
And when he comes, she to the ocean shouts:
Welcome my darling, nothing more to learn!
