She is the moonlight pallor,
Dark water's cold caress
Echoes in the shadow of midnight's kiss.
On a single mote of her hair,
For an eternity...
...I could gaze.
Her dance is the rhythm of surrender;
She moves above admonition
To the melody of memories -
As if to say
Perhaps...
..I could love you.
Paralytic yearning weaves,
Venomous,
Through these veins,
But I am quickened,
For the heart welcomes desire...
...Without taint of remorse.
She is the forgotten hope;
That exquisite refrain which plays
On with tormentuous longing.
And even if I could without her touch,
Only for her would...
...I Dream.
