Joseph T. Renaldi - Rearing A Child

2014-11-07 1

Every child we want to prosper,
But must have time to grow.
Each one must learn to weather
Life's trials and tribulations even more.

Give the child time to mature - through hardships-
Strength to combat distress,
Let the warmth of each parent,
Bathe it in caress.

Do not rush the rearing stage,
For a child to bear,
Let it slowly grow and mature,
Guide its development with tender care.

A sound mind and a sound body
will ripen to their best
If they are permitted to develop
Without being overly pressed.
