Gene Griffin - Is It A Strange Thing?

2014-11-07 2

Is it a strange thing,
When my heart cannot sing,
When my soul is filled with fear,
When my eyes shed many a tear?

Is it a strange thing,
When my worries to God I bring,
When joy is turned to sorrow,
When its difficult to face tomorrow?

Is it a strange thing,
When trouble hurts as a sting,
When my heart is broken in dearth,
When my spirit is cast down to earth?

No, its not a strange thing at all,
As long as on Him my soul shall call,
Who shall wipe away each tear,
Who shall calm every fear.

It is a strange thing not to rest,
In Him, of Whom our spirits are blest,
The Healer of the broken heart,
Who, in all our sorrows has a part.
