Hosannas to protestors of the plight of the masses,
To researchers who try to salve our suffering.
To keepers of the peace,
To resisters of hate and wrongful actions,
To kindlers of faith and learning.
Hallelujahs to clear sane minds,
To harbingers of health, cheer and laughter,
To givers of understanding compassion, love,
To creators and inventors,
To the courageous who brave the unknown.
We are rich with the balm of companionship,
With the yield of the earth and the beauty thereof,
We are blessed with the brilliance and spiritual goodness in man.
We are the doers and the indebted.
