Bret K. Webster - Hear The Heart

2014-11-07 1

Wondering, moments of reflection,
Controllable despair, illusory grief.
Stability of time though ever so short,
lends sadness to contentment, learning
how life's summer will end.

Anxiety enters the door and is a constant
companion. Hear the spirits, hear the heart,
time is vanishing. Darkness is near, timeless
and shaped. The end is hazy, clouded by
the unknown. Loneliness is a fight
to bestow.

Memories abound, O' so grand a memory.
The door was shut but opened again, continue
to climb, persist in the struggle, and dream
the dream. Any dream will do.
