Bess Huber - Bingo!

He bent his head and looked at her
with lovelight in his eyes.
She knew exactly what came next,
his question she surmised. She acquiesced to what he said.
She took his ring and smiled.
He never knew to what extent
he had been beguiled.
The Wonderful, Wonderful Sea Sheen on the water glistens under the sun
Sandpipers are busy on the beach where they run.
Seagulls dive skyward on swift curving wings.
The wind whispers softly in breezes it brings. White-capped waves dash toward the shore
to recede in haste as they did before.
There's a fascination in watching the waves as they crash to the shore, creating new caves. Dangerous, unpredictable, the wonderful
sea --
A more beautiful spectacle you'll never see.
The ocean is splendid, a gift to man
to appreciate and enjoy as long as he can. Sanctuary My ship set forth one pearly morn,
Her sails afloat full mast;
From bow to stern in any gale,
Her hull was built to last! But tempest soon beset her course,
Her jibes swung fore and aft;
(She's rigged to weather any storm,
And proud as any craft!) When dark drew nigh her anxious beams
Were sending forth their light;
In rolling seas a haven sought -
Kept searching through the night! The breakers rolled with coming dawn
To show amidst the surf
An inland bay; my vessel found
A safe and peaceful berth!
