Why is it that some words paint a thousand pictures….
Whereas others possess neither paper nor palette?
Some are just so evocative
That the Magician that is the mind
Conjures colours and contours,
Amplifies and magnifies
But a single brush-stroke
Into a complete canvas of communication.
Let me give you the word that got me going
And see what you make of it for yourself:
‘Sentinel’
One half of me thinks it better
To tell you what I thought,
The other, it would be best, perhaps,
Were I to just say naught………………
