That we both share
And show to each other
How much we care
For it is a promise
That doesn't need a voice
For each time we meet
Its for us a rejoice
Because friendship is
When two people smile
And promise to walk
Hand and home for miles
And it is a promise
To think of each other
In all life's joys
Or in trouble's weather.
