A large number of people across the eastern half of the United States reported seeing a strange, glowing object streak across the sky on the night of November 3rd.

People in Japan also witnessed an object in the sky which was green in color.

Back in the US, sightings occurred in 11 states, including Indiana, Georgia, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.

Calls alerting authorities to the activity began to roll in around 6 pm.

Thanks to a police dash cam, video was taken of the orb as it shot through the night sky just above the city of Benwood, West Virginia.

The mass appears to be fast moving and green.

NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office said that it was most likely a meteor.

About an hour later, another round of reports began pouring into the agencies concerned with such things.

This time, the calls were coming from the Chicago area.

The airborne object seen there was also glowing, but it’s said to have been moving at a slower pace than the other.

NASA said that in Windy City’s case, the mysterious object was probably falling space junk.
