Anthony Di'anno - Angel Wing

2014-11-04 4

Beautiful creatures,

How the willow weeps for your condition,

Sad the blackbird sings,

For you will never fly,

Placed at the mercy of predatory creatures,

Redundant are your outstretched wings,

We came,

Mothers, fathers sons and daughters,

We marveled at your beauty,

Poisoned you with our ignorance.
