A certain roach came
Around where the roosters
Were feasting with pride
And reeks of stupor
In a brown coat of wings.
It confessed its pride
By dizzying about noisily
To the chagrin of its hosts
And when a warning
Was issued to this guest
He heeded not
And found himself
An item on the menu
Of the roosters' party food.
