My memories of the Great American Fish Company are generally happy and fairly fuzzy, since the only times I've been here it has been with a family member who orders endless steamed crabs and endless long island iced teas for everyone. Baaad. Baaaaaad!
So the clams are awesome; you get a giant bucket with steamed clams chilling out in a tasty butter garlic sauce, and heaps of garlic bread on the side. Scoop out clams, dig out the meat, dip the bread in the sauce, take a drink of your long-island, repeat, repeat, repeat.
Beware the flower sellers who guilt your significant other to buy a rose. Otherwise, I've always had good experiences here, but always end rather fuzzily due to the consumption of alcohol. I've heard that the actual entrees are tasty, but cleaning the restaurant of a box of clams is much more fun.
