The Autumn leaves are parading
with their coats of orange, red and brown
in a whirling and intricate motion
on the cold, dappled ground.
The pace of the parade will heighten
as the blustery winds begin to blow,
and the leaves will eventually be covered
by the weight of the falling snow.
Nature has promised a renewed Spring season
with the emerging of newly born leaves,
again awaiting a future parade
as they waver in a warm Spring breeze.
The Autumn parade gives pleasure to the senses
and lingers on to the days that are winter bound,
and one will always remember the splendor-
the parade of the orange, red and brown.
