Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi - Bankrupt

2014-10-29 0

Bitter pill of bereavement
That I swallow every day
Reminds me of broken trust
Of love that's far away

Death of a precious
sacred bond
Had to be nurtured
all life long

I did my part
of taking care
Why did you
Just throw it away

No more rules
To honour for me
I break all moulds
Society set for me

I don't want to be
Of 'civilised' lands
Back to the basics
Alone I can stand

I feel nothing, not guilty anyway
No qualms of conscience
To weaken me
So I wither away.

Just follow instincts
Animal within does tell me
Survival is on top list
Since everything else
Has been looted from me
