Mrs. Sigmund was a beautiful old woman
she died in her sleep one night
So we layed her out in her best attire
in the parlor and we dimmed the light
When the next morning all hell broke loose
when little John went about to do his rounds
Something had paid Mrs. Sigmund a visit
and a body without a nose he found
Chorus:
There's a Rat toot toot in the casket
how he got there no one knows
He must live downstairs in the basement
and through this building is where he roams
Up and down the stairs and through the walls
of the local funeral home
He's a pest that Rat we got to kill him
cause he ate Mrs. Sigmund's nose
Well it didn't take long to figure out what had happened
and a two by four did the trick
We hit that Rat with about three whacks
and that dirty Rat we killed
