Albert Martin - Demons On My Path

2014-10-29 2

Honey babe
Give me one last kiss
My feet are gonna take me down
Across the sunken ground
Through the mist

And if the mist is thick
And whether through the mist I see demons
No one's gonna know I am weak
And no one's gonna use my weapons
But me

There're still self life bodies that lay here under
And maybe stronger than the most
But their courage - once like thunder
It is lately in a hurry for leaving
And their strenght goes getting lost
Until their only purpose consists of hoping and dreaming

I can expect for their help and perish waiting
I can only stand on my feet and face the demons fighting
They can just not see me on my knees and praying
Which is plain to understand: they must be thinking
That with their own common demon I am dealing
