through out the day
spanning 24x7
screams the idiot box
without any respite
mushrooming everyday
beaming up new channels
targeting women viewers
making them vulnerable
vying with each other
in telecasting melodramas
showing them in episodes
spanning for years many
prime times they allocate
for increasing viewership
men and women wait for it
postponing all their works
sponsorship they get through
advertisements that look absurd
very little they contribute
for nation building activities
