To give your life for nation's sake
Is patriotism par excellence;
To love your Motherland is prime
-A duty of each citizen;
Though many lived a selfish life,
Courageous few had sacrificed their lives;
If not for freedom-fighters brave,
Could we now till our sacred soil?
A red-letter day is that day
When we had won our precious independence;
We ought to always remember
Those lovely souls who set us free!
Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!
