Rays of a golden sun greet the day,
A warm breeze brushes my cheek in its play,
Fragrant roses of radiant hue,
Amidst this beauty, I think of you
Formation of birds in hectic flight
Looking for shelter before fall of night,
A welcoming tree comes within view,
Feeling its comfort, I think of you
Amorous waves hug a lonely shore,
Avocets scavenging the sandy floor,
The moon and stars keep their rendezvous,
In this calm of night, I think of you
A dove woos his mate high in a tree,
Together they practice love's harmony,
I watch as I lay in velvet dew,
Seeing love fulfilled, I think of you
Though life may demand its daily toll,
The beauty of nature delights my soul,
When the bells of contentment ring true,
I feel God's love.... and I think of you
