Tears imprisoned by exhaustion
Faces blank, without emotion
Hearts beating, but with caution
Happiness an unfamiliar notion
Smiles imprisoned by indifference
Can't justify our existence
Live life through strange insistence
Don't care enough to show resistance
Seek that which we cannot see
Long to achieve what we cannot be
We shall stand still eventually
We shall give up entirely
