Leah Ayliffe - Paradise City

2014-10-29 13

Vegas, notorious as the city of sin,
My sweet city of paradise,
Where all can play in sinful delight.
Towering hotels and painted palm trees
line the strip where we pretty girls walk the night.

Beauty queens owning the streets,
Getting handed our dreams on plates of gold.
Loving us is free, we can get it anywhere,
But right here & now is what we want to know.

Living at that old school vintage Flamingo,
Pink and white lights shine it up bright.
Wearing our bikinis, meeting strangers at the poolside,
Drinks for free, rock and roll
Give us love drugs, come to our floor.
Show them a cunning smile, turn the music up.

White lines on the table for the blow kings and queens,
Hotel room, Vegas party like on the silver screen.
Running down the hallways, roaming with new friends,
Call us up a classy limo with a dance pole in the middle.

Got some mad sugar daddies on our hands,
Pushing $100 cash on our pretty club fares,
And I sing to myself 'cash comes quick when looks can kill'
Like the queen Del Rey sings 'nothing more gorgeous than a hundred dollar bill'.

Living hard on days and nights like these,
Makes hell a playground for darling angel beauties.
Give us the fire, we can handle the heat,
We know what we do, and we do it well.

No morale to dictate the confusion in my soul,
I can be whoever I want, I can even be me.
I take stage to my own show and I shine,
Smiling and divine in the lime light.

You see, here in the land of aesthetics and glam
Of money and luxury, sunshine and pretty lights at night,
I feel free.
