Common dolphins came ashore,
Maybe thirty or more,
On this beach in Brazil,
People showed a will.
As they heard the wails,
They grabbed their tails,
Pulling out to sea,
So they could flee.
To follow each other,
As a child their mother.
A visitor from above,
Would see their love.
With a greater worth
Than much on this earth.
If only our pride
Would let them guide.
They're more humane,
Than those who reign.
I leave a plea,
To keep them free.
