One day we’ll open up
the window of the world
and let the sunshine through
to warm up the cold hearts
and let the love flow through.
One day we’ll open up
the window of the world
and all wars will end,
then people everywhere
will hug one another as friends.
One day we will look out
as the sunshine streaks through
spreading love and happiness
all around this old world
for everyone including me and you.
Some might call it just a dream,
but I believe it to be true
that one day we’ll open up
the window of the world
and let the sunshine through.
