chyna parker - Defying Death

2014-10-29 4

Thou doth defy death,
As is such ways beauty does me,
Stolen away breath,
Like the one in thee.

Thy exhale is soft with sleep,
Mine is heavy with pain,
Inhaling so very deep,
As you whisper my name.

But the eye of night does see,
The rise and fall of chest,
Like the one in thee,
The one that defies me best.

Yet, as death sees me weep,
Thy mind is soothed by the breath that I breathe in deep.
