Katlego Rasegwete - Letter to my unborn child

2014-10-29 28

Dear my child

crawling to my future,
quenching my present desires with imaginary you
i wanna explode with happiness, like a tornado exploding with powerful pressure
dropp tears of giving dejavu of excitement, like a rain drops manifesting its going to rain

when i hear the words of 'i wil have a child'
hoping and wishing
i be there when you be laboured on earth
i witness your first sound when you cry, when learning to say mama
witness your beauty before the entire world does that
give you the 2nd kiss before you be lip protector for every one

can't wait for the days you be source of my stress
can't wait for days i yell at you
can't wait for days you sometimes see me as a best dad, sometimes as a good dad to you
can't wait for moments i will share with you though they are unpredictable

for me
you are all that i want
can't wait for war me and your mother will invent
cause of looking for a name to rename you with
war for your gender as we will be having different perspective

war which will give peace and fun
hoping i be a good father
alibi of you to beautiful future
samson for you when you'll be needing me

this letter will pass oceans, galaxies and universes
will change time zones to get to you
without an address and your name
this letter will get to you

letter to my unborn baby
