When you look into the mirror
What do you see
When you look at the image before you
Do you ever see me.
When you peruse the face that reflects there
What do you find on the whole
When you look deep into the eyes
Do you glimpse another one's soul.
The windows on the world
That covet everything we see
How many things have been seen by them
Whether they be real or imaginary.
The only thing I know for sure
Is the face that's getting old
It won't be many years from thus
Like the glass the body cold.
