I'm standing at the crossroads of my life
staring into the clouds watching them
move as I stay stagnant with fear.
To take a step forward could means
that I can finally reach some kind of
success filling in my pockets.
If I stay where I am at, I can be
worry free with minimal responsibility.
I know I am going to take this step
that feels more like a leap to
the other side of the world because
for once in my life I realize that
I need to show some courage
and move away from my childhood fears.
