Creased and numbering in a thousand
Paper cranes litter the sky
Here on my floor I lie
Soon I will get my wish
Calling each other by their voices
Trying to fly behind
Waiting until the time
Soon I will get my wish
The sounds of paper against sweet paper
Flapping wings in the clouds
Behind their own shrouds
Soon I will get my wish
My head aches and so do my bones
The doctor has worse news
My mother is forced to choose
Soon I will need my wish
