Camryn Manheim has joined the CBS drama “Extant” as a series regular.
Manheim, an Emmy winner for her work on ABC’s “The Practice,” will play the best friend and closest confidant to the lead character played by Halle Berry.
“Extant” revolves around a female astronaut trying to reconnect with her family after a year in outer space. Her experiences lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history.
“Extant” is a co-production of CBS Television Studios and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television. Steven Spielberg, Greg Walker, Mickey Fisher, Brooklyn Weaver, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank are exec producers."
