I can’t hold on any longer
The shine is disappearing
The hold you had is loosening
I’m feeling freer and I’m fond of that feeling
Your light is fading
I can’ hold on to your love any longer
There is something beyond your fading light
And that’s what I yearn for
Your light is fading
You’re disappearing from my heart
Will there be a scar or a sign that you were ever here?
Will I one day wish for this light to return?
