We are like one
two roses in the sun
a light shines down on us
when we are together.
Your love brings warmth
when the sun is not there
so many tender laughs we have shared
we are two doves in a tree
The essence of spring
can permeate my heart
even in the winter.
My love is strong
like the waves of the ocean
that can thrash the ones
who threaten it.
You are my passion, my joy, my strength.
Others may drift away
