Look at all the people you’ve passed
Because you thought that time would last
All of life’s simple things one day you’ll see
How very much they mean to you and to me
All the things we take for granted because they are there
Soon you will turn to them, but see nothing but air
So before it’s too late, if its not too late
Reverse your thoughts and start to appreciate
Don’t be a fool; for only God knows
So take your time and smell a rose
